Summary: The Quality Supervisor will oversee the quality process to ensure world-class quality standards are met on customer vehicles. This role involves developing and maintaining process documentation, work instructions, and managing LPA systems. The Quality Supervisor will support production requirements, delegate tasks to quality inspectors, and ensure a safe work environment while enforcing compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies.

Shift: Friday/Saturday 6:00am to 4:00pm and Sunday/Monday 6:00pm to 4:00am
Pay Rate: $23.97

Job Duties:

  • Maintain a hands-on presence on the production floor to ensure quality standards are met.

  • Train quality staff on processes, QA check-sheets, and critical vehicle inspection points.

  • Support and maintain vehicle travelers and QA check-sheets for all programs.

  • Generate and provide quality reports, including internal audits for IATF 16949, LPA, and corrective actions.

  • Address customer concerns, corrective actions, and warranty claims with the support of the Quality Specialist and Division Quality Manager.

  • Maintain communication with Production Supervisors and Plant Managers to ensure First Time Quality and production adherence.

  • Audit work-in-process tagging per procedures and instructions.

  • Conduct Gauge R&R, MSA, SPC, and other studies as required.

  • Ensure production hold units are addressed daily and repaired promptly.

  • Support supplier issue resolution, including CAR requests, DMR, and plant supplier visits.

  • Prepare monthly quality reports covering supplier performance, customer issues, FTQ, and top QA concerns.

  • Participate in APQP calls and provide support as directed by the Division Quality Manager.

  • Manage vacation scheduling and shift coverage for Quality Inspectors.

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety procedures.

  • Provide employees with training and supervision on workplace hazards and environmental management.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a related quality role within automotive manufacturing.

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Familiarity with TS16949 or IATF16949, Quality Control Plans, PFMEA, Quality Audits, Environmental Management Systems, and OSHA regulations preferred (training available).

  • Strong teamwork, communication, organizational, and basic computer skills.

  • Proven leadership skills.

  • Valid driver's license required.
