Job Title: Assembler
Location: Berlin Heights, OH
Shift: 2nd
Salary: $20-$25 based on experience ($2 shift differential)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reviews prints and job traveler for specific needs for system being worked on.
- Flame treats parts to straighten frame and parts as needed.
- Utilizes fixtures, jigs, cranes, welder and hand tools to assemble parts to operator, build wind bracing, install counterweights, secure component parts in place safely and correctly.
- Weld, assemble, disassemble components safely and effectively
- Operates equipment safely and per manufacturers and company requirements or specifications.
- Operates controls to assess motor and system performance.
- Adjusts settings to achieve desired amperage draw for timing and performance.
- Inspects parts as required to assure quality product is being produced.
- Operate overhead crane
- Other duties may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED);
- One to three years' experience and/or training in similar manufacturing setting.
- Ability and experience in reading, understanding, and following blue prints and written instructions.
- At least 1 year of welding
- Strong mechanical skills with hand and power tools
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Above average math skills
- Proficient in electronic testing, diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and consistently perform to meet specific deadlines
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills and require minimal supervision
