We are seeking a highly skilled Integrated Avionics Engineer to lead and support the development, coordination, and execution of certification activities. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with applicable FAA and EASA regulations and helping produce certification plans and documents to support aircraft certification.

Key Responsibilities:
• Define IMA certification activities in compliance with DO-297/ED-124/AC20-170/AMC20-170, including developing an IMA Certification Plan
• Define the means of compliance, and compliance checklists to support the development activities and processes defined in the IMA Certification Plan.
• Understand the activities needed and differences in obtaining TSO-C153 and TSO-C153A for IMA modules.
• Interface with customers and regulatory authorities (FAA, EASA, etc.) to obtain agreement on the certification approach.
• Prepare and review compliance documentation to support the development activities performed in compliance to DO-297/ED-124 as defined in the IMA Certification Plan. Prepare and present any deviations from the IMA Certification Plan during the development cycle and obtain agreement with the customer and regulatory authorities to ensure there is a path to certification.
• Review and support responses to FAA Issue Papers (IPs), EASA Certification Review Items (CRIs), Certification Action Items (CAIs), etc.
• Review and provide guidance to the development team on the Means of Compliance (MoC), and compliance reports in support of regulatory and industry requirements, such as applicable MOPS, TSO's, etc.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or related field
7 years of experience in avionics systems certification, ideally with IMA platforms.
